Abstract
Western government regulation theories have formed different theoretical schools,such as the theories of public interest regulation,departmental interest regulation,relax regulation and incentive regulation and so on.The development of government regulation theory and practice offers important enlightenment to socialist market economy.The foundations on which China and western government depend are not the same,so the task of government regulation reform is to build perfect economic system first.Secondly,it is to establish and improve supervision system of government regulation and lastly,it is to introduce and promote incentive government regulation.
