On the Cultivation of Self-learning Ability of Students in Higher Vocational College

The self- learning ability of students in higher vocational college is relatively weak,mainly because students have lower self- efficacy and weak fundamentals,and they are lack of specific aim and self- monitoring ability,meanwhile there are contradictions between the effective supply of teaching and students' need. In order to help students have the ability of self- learning,higher vocational colleges should focus on stimulating students' learning motivation,developing career planning to help students set learning goals,and promoting the establishment of curricular system and reform of mode of teaching according to students' need.
