Comparison the View of Chinese Drama History of Wang Guowei with the View of Wu Mei

Wang Guowei gets rid the view of conventional bondage on drama study.He is very different from his predecessors in his pattern of researches on Chinese classical drama.Especially,his History of Song and Yuan Drama,was a product of combination the methods of west positivism and Chinese classic hermeneutics.Wu Mei also studies the Chinese drama with the literal evolutionism ideas whose keep the eyes on development of Chinese drama.The two scholars have the consistency in Chinese drama study,but this article aimed at the differences between the two scholars.
