Abstract
Aiming at Zhou Yibai's theatre history ideas of including all the kinds and playing on the spot,this paper used the method of comparative study to investigate the difference of theatre history ideas among Wang Guowei,Wu Mei and Zhou Yibai,and affirmed that Zhou Yibai's theatre history ideas are certainly the landmark views which reveals the ontological characteristics of operas as the art of theater.
