Screening Test of New Introduced Dry Pepper Cultivars in Gansu Province

Gansu province was lack of good dry pepper cultivars.In order to solve the problem,eleven dry pepper cultivars were introduced from all parts of China,and a comparison test were carried out,with their fruit characters,maturity and yield investigated comprehensively.The results showed that Chuanteng No.6,Bola No.5 and Yula No.11 possessed good qualities and were suitable for the local cultivation and extension,and Yunganjiao No.3 and Shanjiao 2006 possessed the characters of short fruit and low yield,which were not suitable for the local cultivation.
