Introduction Experiment of New Pepper Cultivars in Kaili

In order to insure the sustainable development of pepper industry in Kaili area,we analyzed the biological characters,economic characters,stress resistance,disease resistance of nine new pepper cultivars by taking the local cultivar(line pepper) as control.The results showed that,the two cultivars Gengxin 103 and Jinpinchangxianjiao possessed higher yields of 1 701.1 kg/667 m2 and 1 675.5 kg/667 m2 respectively,which were 22.72% and 20.86% higher than that of the control cultivar.The two cultivars could be popularized in the area according to the market demand.
