Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical significance of serum high sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)detected in coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods The serum hs-CRP in CHD patients(CHD group,n=96)and normal control(n=35)was detected.CHD group was divided into coronary heart disease with stable angina pectoris(SAP)group(36 cases),unstable angina pectoris(UAP)group(28 cases)and acute myocardial infarction(AMI)group(32 cases). The serum hs-CRP of CHD group and the control group were determined. Results The levels of hs-CRP in CHD group were higher than that of the control group(P0.01).There were also significantly differences among the sub groups of CHD patients(AMIUAPSAP,P0.01).Compared with before treatment, the serum level of hs-CRP in CHD patients decreased significantly after treatment(P0.01).Conclusion The detection of serum hs-CRP has important value for prediction of the occurrence, development, severity and prognosis of CHD.
