Abstract

Objective To investigate the level of high sensitivity-reactive protein(hs-CRP) in different types of coronary heart disease(CHD) patients and explore its clinical significance. Methods Totally,200 CHD patients hospitalized in Shaoyang Central Hospital were divided into stable angina pectoris(SAP) group, unstable angina pectoris(UAP) group and acute myocardial infarction(AMI) group according to the degree of the lesions. The serum hs-CRP levels were compared among different groups and with that of the control group. Results The levels of serum hs-CRP of the three CHD groups were as follows: AMI group UAP group SAP group, which were all significantly higher than that of the healthy control group(P0.01).Conclusions Observation of the changes of the hs-CRP level is of clinical value in judging the condition of patients with coronary heart disease.
