Abstract
Objective:To explore the effect of serum high-sensitivity C-Reactive protein on the development of coronary heart disease. Methods:The hs-CRP levels of 225 patients with CHD(including 117 cases of acute myocardial infarction and 108 of angina cordis)were tested. Results:The serum level of hs-CRP was significantly higher in the patients with CHD than that in healthy controls(P0.01).The serum hs-CRP levels in several groups of the patients with CHD showed statistical difference(P0.01).Conclusion:The level of serum hs-CRP is positively correlated with the development of CHD.The serum hs-CRP can be regarded as an early prognostic indicator for CHD.
