Abstract
Objective To observe the germicidal efficacy and toxicity of the compound disinfectant solution which contains triclosan and chlorhexidine acelate as the main germicidal ingredients. Methods Suspension quantitative germicidal test, animal test and field experiments were used to carry out laboratory observation. Results The killing logarithm values of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli applied with 0.49g/100ml triclosan and 0.52g/100ml chlorhexidine acelate for 5.0 min were both 5.00.The results of 30 field experiments demonstrated that the killing logarithm value of the natural bacteria on surface and textile fabrics applied with the compound disinfectant solution for 1 min was 1.00.The oral toxicity of the disinfectant solution for mice was practically non-toxic.The result of mouse bone marrow erythrocyte micronucleus test was negative. Conclusions The disinfectant solution of triclosan and chlorhexidine acelate has strong germicidal efficacy to Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli.It is lowly toxic, low irritating for vaginal mucous membrane and suitable for the surface and textile fabrics disinfection.
