Correlation of sperm membrane AsAb and semen parameters of male infertile patient

Abstract

Objective: To analyze the relationship between sperm membrane antisperm antibody(AsAb) and main semen parameters in male infertile patients.Methods: Sperm membrane AsAb and Semen analysis were measured and analyzed in 350 infertile men,the patients were distributed into two groups: AsAb-positive group(43cases) and AsAb-negative group(307 cases).Results: The positive rate of AsAb in all infertile patients was 14.00%.Sperm concentration,motility,a+b grade sperm concentration and semen volume of AsAb-positive group were lower than that of AsAb-negative group(P0.05).Conclusions: Sperm membrane AsAb could affect main semen parameters,it is one of the main causes of male infertility.
