Abstract

The stem segments with natural ripe fruit seeds of the red Pitaya hybrid offspring were used as experimental explants to study the different disinfection methods and the effects of hormone on adventitious bud occurrence and multiplication. The results indicated that: the medium of 1/2MS+NAA0.3 mg/L was best for bud infection. The optimal multiplication medium in subculture was MS+6-BA5.0 mg/L+NAA0.3 mg/L,the multiplication rate was above 4.9,and the new bud had strong growth potential. The medium of 1/2MS +6-BA1.5 mg/L was best for the second bud infection of cotyledon.1/2MS+NAA0.3mg/L+IBA0.3 mg/L was best medium for rooting, with a rooting of 95 %.After acclimatization for 7 days, the survival rate was up to 96 % on 20 days after transplanted into sterilized medium.
