Abstract
Objecive to investigate the changes and clinical significance of serum IL-6, IL-2 and TNF-α in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods ELISA was applied to measure serum levels of IL-6,IL-2 and TNF-α in 30 cerebral infarction patients at acute stage and at convalescent stage, and the results were compared with those in 32 healthy controls. Results Serum levels of IL-6,IL-2 and TNF-α in the patients were significantly highter than that in the controls(P0.01), the levels in acute stage were highter than that in convalescent stage(P0.05). Conclusions Serum IL-6, IL-2 and TNF-α in the process of the development of cerebral infarction play important roles, and their levels can be used in the differential diagnosis of cerebral infarction with acute stage and convalescent stage.
