Abstract

Combustion model computer control system for the new built walking beam bar steel reheating furnace in Baoshan Iron and Steel Co.,Ltd.is introduced.Reheating furnace is an important production process to ensure heating quality of heated materials,to save fuel energy consumption and to guarantee material supply of succeeding procedure.Walking beam reheating furnace is usually applied to hot rolling line,but it is built in bar steel production line of Baosteel for the first time.Based on special technological requirement of bar steel reheating furnace,special control parts in reheating furnace control model are described in detail,including heating system,thermal tracking model,fine sectional control of control model,await rolling control,heating time prediction with schedule model,fuzzy logic control,and so on.Combustion model computer control system for reheating furnace of bar steel in Baosteel works stably until now,forecast computation and model control results are satisfactory.
