Abstract
Based on the database for mathematic model of reheating furnace in Strip Plant of Baotou Iron and Steel Co, a combustion process computer control system is developed. The temperature control module and gas air ratio optimizing control module have been created. As a result, optimizing combustion in reheating furnace is realized and energy saving is achieved.
