Abstract
Objective:To discuss the effects of the application of integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases(COPD).Methods:60 patients with COPD were divided into the observation group(30 cases) and the control group(30 cases),the control group were given bromide ipratropium product aerosol based on conventional treatment,the observation group were given integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine,then we contrasted the clinical effects between the two groups.Results:The improve rates of clinical symptoms and signs in the observation group were significantly higher than the control group(P0.01);FEV1、FVC were significantly higher in 6 and 12 weeks after treatment than before in the observation group(P0.05);but no significantly changes in the control group(P0.05);and FEV1、FVC of the observation group were significantly higher in 6 and 12 weeks after treatment than the control group(P0.05);but there was no significantly defferences on FEV1/FVC after or before treatment in the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion:The application of integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of COPD can effectively reduce the symptoms of patients with cough,sputum,shortness of breath,and can significantly improve the lung function.It has desired effects,and is worthy of clinical application.
