Abstract
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the clinical efficacy of vertigo-calming therapy combined with acupuncture for vertebral-basilar artery insufficiency vertigo.METHODS Choosing diagnosed vertebral-primary arterial insufficiency vertigo 82 cases,42 cases were divided as treatment group and 40 as control group.The treatment group were treated with vertigo-calming combined with acupuncture and the control group with acupuncture only,both groups continuously treated for one week,then effcacies of the two groups were compared.RESULTS The total effective rate was 97.6% in the treatment group and 85.0% in the control group,with a statistically difference between the two groups(P0.01).CONCLUSION The efficacy of vertigo-calming combined with acupuncture treatment of vertebral-basilar artery insufficiency vertigo is clearer,it's an ideal therapeutic treatment.
