Clinical Observation of Therapy of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine on Chronic Atrophic Gastritis

Objective: To observe the clinical curative effect of therapy of integrated Chinese and western medicine on chronic atrophic gastritis.Method: 69 cases with chronic atrophic gastritis were divided into two groups randomly.33 cases in control group were treated with Colloidal bismmth pectin,tablet berberine and tablet Wei-mei-su.36 cases in treatment group were treated with Chinese medicine on the ground of above treatment.The course of treatment included 2 months.Result: In treatment group 4 cases were recovered,23 ones excellent,5 ones effective and 4 ones ineffective.The total effective rate was 88.89%(95%CI=78.62%-99.16%).In control group 2 cases were recovered,12 ones excellent,9 ones effective and 10 ones ineffective.The total effective rate was 69.70%(95%CI=54.02%-85.38%).There was significant difference between the two groups on the effective rate(u=2.437 8,P=0.015 5).And after treatment symptom score in treatment group was better than that in control group(t=-5.596 5,P0.01).Conclusion: The curative effect of therapy of integrated Chinese and western medicine is better than that of western medicine on chronic atrophic gastritis,OR=0.29(but 95%CI1),NNT=5(95%CI=2.6-5000.0).
