Abstract
【Objective】To evaluate the color doppler flow imaging(CDFI)in detection of carotid atherosclerosis and clinical value.【Methods】To observe the common carotid artery and its bifurcation,the internal carotid artery,external carotid artery intima-media thickness,plaque echo and hemodynamic changes.【Results】3670 cases of this group,1874 cases without carotid artery disease(51.1%),and atherosclerosis were 1796 cases(48.9%).In suffering from arteriosclerosis, only in the performance of membrane thickening or plaques are accompanied by 692 cases(38.5%),the mild carotid artery stenosis in 381 cases(21.2%),moderate stenosis in 423 cases(23.6%),severe stenosis in 266 cases(14.8%),carotid artery occlusion were 34 cases(1.9%).In this group,by CT,MRI diagnosed 612 cases of cerebral infarction patients,including 456 cases of carotid artery ultrasound to detect atherosclerosis,accounting for 74.51%.In 685 cases with diabetes and hypertension,CDFI detected 577 cases of carotid atherosclerosis,accounting for 84%.【Conclusions】CDFI,which provides carotid intima-media thickening and plaque and other medical information,has a higher atherosclerosis detection rate in patients with hypertension and diabetes than normal.CDFI can be preferred used in detection of carotid atherosclerosis which has important clinical value.
