Abstract
Objective To probe the color Doppler ultrasonography value in carotid atherosclerosis.Methods To observe the common carotid artery and its bifurcation,the internal carotid artery,the external carotid artery intima-media thickness,plaque echo and hemodynamic changes.Results 567 of this group 308 cases without carotid artery disease(54.3%) and atherosclerosis were 259(45.7%),in suffering from arteriosclerosis,only in the performance of membrane thickening or plaques are accompanied by 125 cases(48.3%),the mild carotid artery stenosis in 110 cases(42.5%),moderate stenosis in 17 cases(6.6%),severe stenosis in 7 cases(2.7%).Conclusion The color Doppler ultrasonography is of important clinical value in carotid atherosclerosis.
