Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression of GST-π in breast carcinoma and its biological values. Methods Streptavidin peroxidase conjugated method was used to detect the expression of GST-πin 36 cases of breast carcinoma and 40 cases of benign breast tumor. Results The positive rate of GST-π was 22.5%(9/40)in benign breast tumors and that in breast carcinoma was 69.44%(25/36).The expression of GST-πin clinical stage Ⅲ was higher than that in stage Ⅰ,Ⅱ(P0.05).The expression of GST-πin lymph node metastasis was higher than that no lymph node metastasis(P0.05).Conclusions The positive expressions of GST-πin breast carcinoma may play an important role in the tumorigenesis and influences the prognosis of breast carcinoma.
