Abstract
The Huanghe River Bridge on BeijingZhuhai Expressway was built over the wide and braided reach. In this paper, the construction features of 8×100m spans of the simplysupported through bowstring arch bridge proper of concretefilled steel tubes completed with construction trestles on both sides of the River, framework platforms and longspan, highrise and light weight gantry cranes are presented.
