Abstract
The structure of the Huanghe River Bridge on Xinxiang-Zhengzhou Expressway is a concrete-filled steel tubular bowstring arch bridge with the cross sections of its arch ribs in shape of dumbbell that is not filled with concrete. The overall construction scheme of the Bridge is to utilize the construction trestles on both sides of the River plus large gantry crane traveling on the trestles. In this paper, the features of the design, construction and part of the research findings of the Bridge are described.
