Abstract

Mcm7 is a member of minichromosome maintenance protein family. All of the six subunits form heterogenous multimer to regulate DNA replication. Mcm7 is related with some components of transcription, and expressed higher in proliferated cells and tissues, so it may be a candidate for tumor biomarker. This paper simply summarizes its molecular structure, localization and functions.
