Abstract
Objective:To investigate the protective effect of APS on chronic liver injury in rats. Methods:The chronic liver injury model of rats were induced by carbon tetrachloride(CCl4).To measure the changes of activity of serum alanine aminotrans-ferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),albumin(ALB) and the hydroxyproline(HyP) in hepatic tissue, and observe the patho-logic changes of hepatic tissue. Results:APS could decrease the concentration of serum ALT,AST,HA and HyP,increase the con-centration of serum TP and ALB,and improve the pathologic change of hepatic tissue in rats significantly. Conclusion:APS has protective functions on rats with chronic liver injury significantly.
