Expression and Correlation of P27 and PCNA in Gallbladder Carcinoma Tissues

Abstract

Objective: To investigate correlation of the expression of P27 and PCNA and the clinicobiological behaviors in human gallbladder carcinoma tissues.Methods: The expression of P27 and PCNA in 40 cases of human gallbladder carcinoma were detected with immunohistochemistry of SP.Results: The positive expression rate of PCNA and P27 was 55.0%(22/40) and 42.5%(17/40) respectively.Both of the two targets' rate had no relationship with patients' age and gender(all P0.05),but they all related with lymph-node metastasis and pathological grading(all P0.05).The expression of PCNA in gallbladder carcinoma had no relationship with the expression of P27(P0.05).Conclusion: The expression of P27 and PCNA may be regarded as an important marker in biological characters and prognosis of gallbladder carcinoma.
