Expression of PCNA and c-erbB-2 and relative study in the gallbladder carcinoma

To study the relationship between the expression of PCNA and c-erbB-2 and differenciation,infiltration and metastasis in gallbladder carcinoma and their clinical signifieance.98 cases of gallbladder carcinoma were studied with HE stain and immunohistochemical makers of monoclonal antibody against PCNA and c-erbB-2(S-P method).Amony 98 cases (female 57 cases,male 41 cases)of gallbladder carcinoma,the tumors in 54 cases were protruded into the tube,44 cases were diffuse,and the tumors were clasted histopathologically as adenocarcinoma (63 cases,64.3%).According to differenciatial degree,the tumore were graded as well differentiation (38 casses) middle (27 cases) and poor (20 cases).The total rate of positive expression of PCNA was 88.2% including high expression 29.9%?51.9% and 55% respectively.Which showed significant difference between the histopathologic grades (P0.05).The rate of positive expression of c-erbB-2 was 36.5% which was related to histopathlogic grade (P0.05),The results revealed that high expression of PCNA was associated with the expression of c-erbB-2 (P0.05).Expression of PCNA was correlated to the histopathologic grade and metastaisis;Positive expression of c-erbB-2 is related to proloferative active and infiltrative depth.The results suggested that the poor prognosis is assotiated with the positive expression of c-erbB-2.
