A Collation and Addition of Collections of The Eight Histories of The Latter Han Dynasty

There were more than twelve Histories of The Latter Han Dynasty.But now,most of them are lost except those of Yuan hong and Fan ye.So far,histories written by Liu yi-qing and Xiao zi-xian are entirely died away.Other eight Histories,for example,written by Xie cheng,Xue ying and Si ma-biao also can come to light from kinds of analysis of literary histories and kinds of encyclopedias.On the basis of the great achievements of predecessors,this essay tries to ascertain the original literatures that have quoted the lost histories' characters,and refer to the related historical data,and continues to collect the lost characters that have never been embodied,so that we can resume the former appearances of the lost ancient books at the most.
