The Analysis of the GuiguziWriting Time

Guiguzi(《鬼谷子》), not quoted in Yiwenzhi of Han Book, has been considered as the false one for long. But the discovery of abundant bamboo and silk slips and lost books in recent years is the evidence to show that Han Book is not the overall collection of ancient books of that age. It must be a Pre-Qin ancient book because some quotations in Han's articles are from Guiguzi. And the words and sentences in this book are often quoted from the ancient proses and have the abundant rhymes, which is the style of writing in the Warring Age. This is a strong evidence to prove that the author of Guiguzi was not the person in Dong Han or Six Dynasties, but Guigu in the Warring Age.
