Evaluation on the Exploitation and Utilization of Native Wild Groundcover Plants Resources in Central China

The ornamental or application-valuable native wild groundcover plants in Central China are summarized in this paper. Their life forms, habitats and main ornamental characteristics are introduced, and their utilization are also proposed, so as to guide the introduction of wild groundcover plants and their application in landscape Architecture. Several native wild groundcover plants which have not been widely used in landscape Architecture are especially recommended in order to enrich the varieties of groundcover plants in Central China.
