Abstract
Objective To study the response and toxicity of the regimen of oxaliplatin combined with 5-fluorouracil and calcium folinate in the treatment of advanced gastric cancer. Methods FOLFOX5 regimen:oxaliplatin 100?mg/m2,2?h intravenous (iv) drop on d1,calcium folinate 200?mg/m2 iv drop 2?h on d1.d2,followed by 5-fluorouracil 400?mg/m2,iv drop on d1.d2 and 5-fluorouracil 600?mg/m2 iv drop d1.d2,repeat every 2 weeks.Efficacy was evaluated at 2 cycles (8 weeks). Results WT5The total response rate was 41.2%,and the main toxicity was bone marrow suppression and neuroseusory toxicity.Leukopenia was observed in 53.0% of the patients, and neuroseusory toxicity in 32.4%.There was no toxicity and side effect of grade Ⅳ in these patients. Conclusion The regimen of oxaliplatin combined with 5-fluorouracil and calcium folinate is effective and tolerable in advanced gastric cancer therapy.
