Abstract
OBJECTIVE To prepare tinidazole buccal adhesive tablets,and discuss the effect of different formulation on the property of the tablets.METHODS Selecting different types of Carbopol and HPMC as mucosity and sustained release matrix materials,using direct compression to prepare tablets,to review effect of different formulation on property of adhensive force,expanding rate,in vitro cumulating drug release of tablets.RESULTS With the increasing amount of Carbopol,adhensive force and expanding rate of tinidazole buccal adhesive tablet present enhancive trend.Through the results of in vitro release experiment showed different drug-release mechanism.CONCLUSION Different type and proportion of Carbopol and HPMC has significant influence on the property of tinidazole buccal adhesive tablets.
