The Introduction of an Effective Assessment System to Web-based Autonomous Learning of College English

Assessment is a very important part of college English teaching and Learning.It plays very important role in helping teachers achieve teaching goals.This paper focuses on the introduction of a scientific and fair assessment system to web-based autonomous learning of college English through effectively combining formative assessment and summative assessment to help motivate students and improve their efficiency of English study.
