Analysis of the distribution and drug-resistance of Pathogenic bacteria from aged diabetic nephropathy associated with urinary infection

Objective:To investigate the distribution and drug-resistance of Pathogenic bacteria from aged diabetic nephropathy associated with urinary infection.Methods:Specimens were colleted from inpatients and outpatients from January 2008 to June 2010.Pathogenic bacteria detection,identification and antibiotics sensitivity test were conducted.Results:There were 381 patients with urinary tract infection among 2740 patients with diabetic nephropathy,and 126 strains of bacteria were isolated,the main becteria were the Gram negative bacillus.Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae were resistant to all the test antibiotics except meropenem and imipenem,while Staphylococcus and Enterococcus were resistant to all the test antibiotics except vancomycin.Conclusion:The drug resistance of the bacteria isolated from diabetic nephropathy associated with urinary tract infection is serious.
