Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical diagnostic value of the combinative measuring of serum cystatin C and high sensitivity C-reactive protein in type 2 diabetic mellitus(T2DM) patients with early renal injury.Methods According to urine renal function indice(including urinary microalbumin,urinaryβ2-microglobumin and N-aletyl-β-D-glucosaminidase),180 patients with T2DM were divided into two groups: urine renal function normal group(n=90) and urine renal function abnormal group(n=90).100 healthy people were served as control group.The levels of serum Cys C and hs-CRP were examined with Olympus AU640 automatic biochemical analyzer and statistical analysis was carried out.Results The levels of serum Cys C and hs-CRP in patients with T2DM were significantly higher than those in control group(P0.01);while the levels of serum Cys C and hs-CRP in urine renal function abnormal group were significantly increased than those in urine renal function normal group(P0.01).Serum Cys C was positively correlated with hs-CRP(r=0.39)in T2DM patients.Conclusion Cys C and hs-CRP may be used as sensitive indice of diagnosing early renal injury in type 2 diabetic mellitus.Combinative measuring had more practical value.
