Abstract
Objective:To explore the chemical constituents of Isodon lungshengensis.Methods: Compounds were separated and purified by silica gel column chromatography and their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectral data and chemical evidences.Results: Four compounds were obtained from petroleum ether fraction of the extract from leaves of I.lungshengensis and identified as lungshengenin E(1),lushanrubescensin C(20),β-sitosterol(3),and palmitic acid(4).Conclusion: Compound 4 is isolated from this plant for the first time;there is very high amount of β-sitosterol in the petroleum ether fraction.
