Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effects of salidroside on proliferation and extracellular matrix secretion of rat hepatic stellate cells in vitro.Methods:HSC-T6 were incubated with different concentration of salidroside for 24 hours.MTT colorimetry was used for assaying proliferation of HSC.Cytotoxicity was measured by LDH colorimetry.Type Ⅰ collage was determined by ELISA.Hyaluronic Acid and Laminin were measured by Radioimmunoassay.Results:Addition of 1~8 mg/ml salidroside into culture medium had no cytotoxicity to HSC, but could signficantly inhibit HSC proliferation, and also inhibit Type Ⅰ collage, Hyaluronic Acid and Laminin secretion in different degree.Conclusion:Salidroside has significant effects on hepatic fibrosis in vitro.
