Abstract
To evaluate the reliability and clinical application of quantitative measuring serum AFP with ECLIA, according to the procedure described by NCCLS, the serum AFP concentration in 65 clinical speciments was analyzed by ECLIA and RIA respectively. The parameters such as precision, calibration curve stability, dilution recovery were determined. The results and the relativity between the two methods were compared.Although there were good repeativity and correlation between the two methods( r =0.981, P 0.05), the recovery rates were all above 95%, the ECLIA appeared to have higher recovery rate( t =4.69, P 0.05).The linear range of ECLIA(500μg/L) was wider than that of the RIA(500μg/L).Conclusions: The accuracy and precision of ECLIA were better than that of the RIA, ECLIA method is very useful and suitable for clinical application.
