A COMPARISION OF RIA AND ECLIA IN SERUM AFP DETERMINATION

Abstract
Objective To understand the advantage of ECLIA. Methods The AFP concentrations of 50 clinical specimens were determined by RIA and ECLIA. Results The two methods correlated well(r=0.996, P0.01) and both had a recovery rate of more than 95%.The ECLIA was better than RIA in linear and sensitivity tests. Conclusion ECLIA is preferable for clinical examination.
