Combined surgeries for traumatic total dislocated lens and secondary glaucoma

Objective:To evaluate the effects and methods of the combined surgeries for the traumatic totally dislocated lens and secondary glaucoma.Methods:15 patients(15 eyes) with totally dislocated lens and secondary glaucoma after trauma were treated with extraction of dislocated lens,trabeculectomy,vitrectomy and intraocular lens implantation.Results:During the follow-up period of 3～24 months,no complication ocurred.The postoperative visions were 0.1～0.25 in 5 eyes,0.3～0.5 in 5 eyes and 0.6 in 5 eyes.The intraocular pressure,without medication,were 12～22 mmHg(average 17 mmHg).Conclusion:For traumatic total dislocation of lens and secondary glaucoma,the combined 4 operations(extraction of dislocated lens,trabeculectomy,vitrectomy and intraocular lens implantation)are effective and safe.
