Abstract

This paper attempts to analyze the electromagnetic transient of 500kV lines with HV shunt reactors in East China Power Grid by means of EMTP,PSCAD/EMTDC software and RTDS.Then,Simulation models are built up accordingly and simulation results are expounded. Finally, some countermeasures are proposed on the basis of the calculation result.
