Treatment of 36 Cases of Chronic Pelvic Inflammation by Herbal Oral Administration and Enema

Abstract

To observe the clinical effects of Chinese medicine in the treatment of chronic pelvic inflammation, 71 subjects were randomized into two groups: treatment group in which 36 cases were given herbal oral administration and enema and control group in which 35 cases were just given herbal oral administration,with a course of three months. Results: The cure rate was 83.3% in treatment group and 62.8% in control group,P 0.05. It is indicated that this method is quite effective for chronic pelvic inflammation.
