Empirical analysis of technical efficiency of cities in Liaoning province based on DEA

Abstract

In view of the economic difference in the areas in Liaoning province becoming bigger and bigger,model of DEA is used to measures the technical efficiency in Liaoning province from 1996 to 2005.The result shows that in the technical efficiency there exists distinct difference among different cities.It also reveals that the difference has descending tendency.The paper considers the keys to promoting technical efficiency are organizational innovation and institution innovation and then it puts forward some advice for promoting technical efficiency.
