Abstract
Objective To evaluate the Efficacy of the procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoid in the treatment of circumferential hemorrhoids.Methods 36 cases emorrhoids at the Ⅲ、Ⅳ degree were operated on by PPH.Results The mean operation time was 30 minutes and mean hospitalization time was 3.5 days.5 Cases had anus pain,after taking analgesic,no pain occurred on the second day.They had no recurrence after follow-up for 2~10 months.Conclusion PPH is a safe and effective treatment for severe hemorrhoids with the advantages of less postoprative pain,shorter hospitalization time and quicker recovery.
