Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical value of procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids(PPH).Methods 41 cases with prolapse and hemorrhoids(Ⅲ-Ⅳdegree) were treated by stapler made in China and 8 cases by traditional circumferential hemorrhoidectomy. Results The operating time, blood lost, recovery time, hospitalization and complication in PPH groups were significantly better than those in tradition groups. There were no severe complications such as hemorrhoid recurrence, fecal incontinence, anal stenosis, perianal abscess in PPH groups Conclusion Procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids(PPH),a safe and effective technique, has the advantages of less postoperative pain, quicker recovery and lower complications.
