Abstract
The goal of quality - oriented education is to develop the educated mentally and physically, to train their interest and speciality, and to exploit their potentialities. So teachers are required to pay great attention to both the whole and the individual,from the particular to the generl,which is much more difficult than the single -standard examination-oriented education. The following are discussed in education concept and professional ability,which shows that the key to the success of quality education is to improve teacher's quality.
