On Teachers' Qualities Required in Quality-oriented Education

Quality-oriented education is the education where the educators,based on individual needs and social development,use a variety of favorable conditions and effective ways to guide all the educated in an appropriate way to develop and maximize their own potential,improve their overall quality and achieve full development of individual personalities.Quality-oriented education has become the main theme of the reform of basic education in China in the new century.High-quality teachers are the key to the success of new curriculum reform;therefore,the importance of enhancing teachers' own quality during the reform is highlighted.
