A study of urban functional reorganization in Xuzhou metropolitan

On the basis of the analysis in the background of Xuzhou Metropolitan' s functional reorganization,from the country,Huaihai economic zone and the Xuzhou Metropolitan three different regional scale,the functional structure of the eight cities in the Xuzhou Metropolitan is conducted a analysis to use the location quotients technique.The result shows the main cities of Xuzhou Metropolitan have lots of questions in the functional structure,such as:industrial structure assimilation,the low level of industry,the attraction of the central cities is not obvious,and the export-oriented economies are weak.Then for the above questions,this study makes four corresponding function reorganization countermeasures which are to enhance the interurban level relation and complementary,promote the urban industry level and the technique content,strengthen the city agglomeration effect and the diffusion function,promote the primate city upgrade.
