Impacts of Puerarin Combined with Captopril on Heart Function in the Patients with Congestive Heart Failure

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of puerarin combined with captopril on congestive heart failure(CHF).Methods 90 cases of CHF were divided randomly into two groups.In control group,the conventional therapy was adopted.In treatment group,on the basis of conventional therapy,puerarin injection 300 mg was added with intravenous drop infusion;meanwhile captopril was administered orally,25 mg,3 times per day.The changes in HR before and after treatment were observed and the results of LVEF,SV and CO were detected by ultrasonic imaging apparatus in two groups.Results The total effective rate was 88.9% in treatment group and was 68.9% in control group,indicating significant difference in statistics(P0.05).In treatment group,after treatment,the results of SV,CO and LVEF increased apparently and HR decreased apparently,indicating significant difference in statistics between two groups(P0.05).Conclusion Puerarin combined with captopril can improve obviously heart function of the patients with congestive heart failure.
