Abstract

Diisoamyl malate was synthesized from malic acid and isoamyl alcohol using solid superacid SO42-/TiO as catalyst. The results showed that the mole ratio of glycerine to acetic acid is 1:5,the quantity of catalysts 0.5g,the reaction time 3.5h,benzene of bring-water reagent 3ml,were found. The yield of esterification was up to 93.4%.
